Services for Milford E Golisch, 64, 1404 E Sixth Street, Merrill, who died Friday morning at his home after a long illness, will be held Monday in Merrill at 1:30 pm at St. Stephens United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park.
Mr. Golisch was born August 8, 1913 in Wausau, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Otto E. Golisch. On May 4, 1934, in Wausau, he married Mildred A Grewe, who survives. A former resident of the town of Marathon, he had been a heavy equipment operator for the John Sloan Construction Company. He served for two years with the CCC camps.
Survivors besides his wife include three daughters, Mrs. Lyle Schmidt, Elcho, Mrs. Marlin Sann, 715 Maple, Wausau, and Beverly Golisch at home; a son, Kermit, Merrill, three sisters, Gertrude Golisch, Wausau, Mrs. Edward Koy, Wausau, and Mrs. Ervin Hanke, Marathon, seven grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.
