On December 20, 2003, ANN ELIZABETH (nee Losey) GOLL; beloved wife of the late Robert Roy Goll; devoted mother of Suzanne Goll Reinke, Robert Alexander Goll and Amy Louise Goll Pflaum and husband Milton Pflaum. Also survived by five grandchildren. Friends may call at the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Inc., 6500 York Road (at Overbrook), on Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, 11 A.M., at Grace United Methodist Church, 5407 N. Charles Street. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.

On Saturday, December 20, 2003, ANN ELIZABETH GOLL, 81, died at St. Joseph Medical Center of Towson following hip surgery. Formerly of Roland Park and Stoneleigh, she was a resident of Edenwald in Towson. Born Ann Elizabeth Losey outside of Buffalo, NY, her family moved to Roland Park when she was an infant. Mrs. Goll was a graduate of Western High School where she enjoyed singing operatic solos with the glee club. She also sang in the Grace church choir and on a popular radio program of the day. She continued her education at the Peabody Conservatory and Strayer Business College. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 33 years, Robert Roy Goll, in 1976. He was executive Vice President of C.M. Kemp Mfg. Company until his death. At the start of World War II, Mrs. Goll helped in the war effort by taking a job at Bendix Radio, in Towson, assembling radios to be used by the Army Air Corp. During the war, she had the pleasure of sponsoring the LST #284, which saw action in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters, including the landing at Normandy on D-Day. Mrs. Goll was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Woman's Club of Roland Park and the General Smallwood chapter DAR. She was a former Regent of General Mordecai Gist Chapter DAR and former member of the Stoney Run Garden Club and PEO sister. Beside an avid interest in music, Mrs. Goll was also a talented pastel artist and sculptor. She had studied with Hans Schuler and attended the Maryland Institute of Art. Her other interests included bridge, travel and antiques. She is survived by her three children, Suzanne Goll Reinke, Robert A. Goll, and Amy Goll Pflaum and son-in-law, Milton J. Pflaum. Also by five grandchildren, Jocelyn P. Reinke, Harry A. Reinke III, James A. Pflaum, Andrew S. Pflaum and Brian B. Pflaum. Funeral Services were held at Grace United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Assn. or to the American Cancer Society.
