Together they had seven children: Sarah Ann (1834-1925), Marion (Fleming) (1835-1887), Mary Frances (Royce)(1837-1922), Gloriannah (Sheldon) (1841-1928), Edward McCaughin (1842-1929), Richard Deall (1844-1920), Jane Antoinette (Austin) (1846-1923).
