Frank Paul Zaitz, 75 of Baraboo, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at St. Clare Hospital. Frank, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Lebon) Zaitz, Sr., was born on Dec. 14, 1933. He was united in marriage to Isabelle Mantin on Jan. 8, 1955 in the Town of Neva. Frank was proud to have served with the U.S. Army and had been stationed in Hawaii. He had been employed by Cutler Hammer as a fork lift operator and then by the Woolworth Corp. in Milwaukee as a claims adjuster. He later worked for Gardner Bakery and then ran a thrift store in Madison until he transferred to Tomah. Frank was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery; and a brother-in-law, Vernon Fleischman.

He is survived by his wife, Isabelle Zaitz of Baraboo; two daughters, Debbie (friend Gary Ferracin) Downing and Pam (Randy) Wolfram; three grandchildren, Eric Wolfram, Beth Wolfram and Danielle Downing; three siblings, Mary Ann (John) Matuszewski, Ronnie (Doris) Zaitz, Beverly Fleischman; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friend
