From an unknown publication; Frances Jane, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Newell, passed away Saturday morning, after a brief attack of influnenza and pneumonia. Every loving ministration of human hands proved of no avail, and like a beautiful rosebud, her innocent spirit was plucked from this vale of tears to blossom in a land that is fairer than day. Surviving this precious little one are her devoted young parents, Marion and Helen Hamilton Newell, a loving sister, Marianne, four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs Vincent Hamilton and Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Newell, a great grandmother, Mrs. Ida E. Newell and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the family residence nortwest of town at 10 o'clock Sunday Morning by Rev. A. W. Hanks followed by interment in Knob Prairie cemetery. The floral tributes were very beautiful. Although Frances Jane had only reached the tender age of four months and 26 days, memories of her sweet babyhood will be enshrined forever in the hearts of all her loved ones and to those who are grief stricken we say: "Heaven is made for those we love, the beautiful and true. And God has taken her above to build a Heaven for you."
