Alberta H. Cook, 96, Rutledge Home, Chippewa Falls, died there Tuesday, December 27, 1988.
She was born December 12, 1892 in Chippewa Falls to Maria (Rattunde) and Ludwig Nunke. She grew up in Chippewa Falls.
Albertina married George B. Cook on November 20, 1914 in Minneapolis. They lived in Duluth, Minnesota and in Berkley, California until her husband's death on June 6, 1946. She returned to Wisconsin where she resided in Chippewa Falls and Spring Valley. She entered the Rutledge Home on September 1, 1965 (sic).
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls.
Survivors include a daughter, Beth Marie (Roy) Hancock, Seattle, Washington; three sons, William (Jeanne) Cook and Donald (Jewel) Cook, both of Walnut Creek, California, and George H. (Bettie) Cook of Wilmington, Delaware; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31 at Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. Dennis Sundell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
