Larry Bratton a resident of Grand Junction during his high school years, died unexpectedly Tuesday at Fort Lauderdale, FA where he was employed as a commercial artist.

He came to Grand Junction with his Parents Mr & Mrs Arvel Bratton in 1934 & lived here until he was a graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1959. He later was graduated from Colorado University in Boulder & Parsons Art School in New York City.

Surviving are his parents, now living in Cassville MO, & sister Janeen Rowsell of Blantyre, Malawi, Africa.

In Grand Junction, the elder Mr Bratton was associated with the Western Slope Oxygen Co.
Mrs Bratton was employed at the Medical Arts Laboratory.

Larry got mugged in Florida. The muggers took all his ID. When he was found, the police could not identify him. Not sure whether he was found dead or alive. Larry lay in the morgue for a few days before they were able to identified him.
