|Birth: ||1885, Latvia|
Dominick came from the boarder between Latvia and Lithuania. At the time it was Russia or USSR. He was divorced, then married my great grandmother Katrin (Katharine Pavelka) Bluys. Dominik spoke both Russian and Latvian and possibly some Lithuanian. He met Katrin in Ohio. His surname on his passport was written in Cyrilliac (Russian) and the spelling of his name went from Blujus to Bluis to Blujs to Bluys. His children later had the name Blues. He escaped during the war in the former Soviet Union.
Married: May 05 1913 in Cuyahoga, Ohio. His first wife; we have no information on. His first name can also be seen in the spelling on Tominik in the 1920 census, and it is un-clear as to if this was his real first name or not (As he was raised using the Cyrilliac alphabet under Soviet law.) His children are as follows (With my grandfather being Frank)
