Mrs. Ida M. Dryman, 80, of Dalton, departed this life Monday evening, Nov. 15, 2010, at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home. surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Dryman was born on April 8, 1936 in Sanger, Texas. Ida was a member of Cedar Valley Church of God for more than 20 years.
Mrs. Dryman was preceded in death by her husband, James Dryman; her parents, William and Effie Haren; a sister, Marie Haren; a brother-in-law, Gordon Lewallen.
Ida is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Larry Ensley of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, James and Connie Dryman of Dalton and Gary Dryman of Dalton; a brother, Jim Haren of Sarasota, Fla.;a sister, Ruby Lewallen of Dalton; grandchildren, Angela Dryman, Jason Dryman, Lacey and Matthew Nicholson; great-grandchildren, Megan Morgan, Matthew Morgan, Hunter Dryman, Aiden Dryman, Jarod Holcomb, Natalie Nicholson and Jada Holcomb.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ida Mae Dryman are Thursday at 3 p.m. at Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise with the Rev. Clayton Brown officiating.
Burial will be at West Hill Cemetery. Jason Dryman, David Baggett, Steven Stewart, Casey Haren, Jay Haren and Michael O'Dell will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Dryman will lie in state at the church from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
