FRANKFORD -- Asher Stephen "Steve" Loveland, 46, of Frankford went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007. Mr. Loveland was born in Lewes to the late Earl George and Jeannette (Dukes) Loveland. Steve was a foreman with Asplundh Tree Co. for 17 years. He enjoyed bowling, gardening and camping. Steve was a kind and giving man who loved life to the fullest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Marie Loveland. He is survived by two daughters, Kristin Cooper of Laurel and Heather M. Loveland of Frankford; a stepmother, Mary Lou Loveland of Clarksville; three brothers, David E. Love-land of Marion Station, Mark W. Loveland of Frankford and Raymond S. Loveland of Laurel; three sisters, Barbara J. Baker of Ellendale, Gail M. Quillen of Frankford and Nancy L. Johnson of Marion Station; a stepsister, Debbie Murray of Selbyville; a stepbrother, Robbie Anderson of South Carolina; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many loving and faithful friends. A funeral service will be held Monday at noon at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services on Thatcher Street in Frankford, where family and friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Dagsboro Redmens Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Steve's name to Compassionate Care Hospice, 31038 Country Garden Blvd., Suite D2, Dagsboro, Del. 19939.
