CASPER - Memorial services for Glenrock resident George A. Bunner, 78, will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 25, at Bustard's Funeral Home, with Kirk Pearson officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in the Glenrock Cemetery following the services.
He died May 20, 2004, at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center.
Born Sept. 21, 1925, in Newcastle, he was the son of William and Lillie (Worthington) Bunner. He was raised and attended school in Newcastle.
On Dec. 28, 1972, in Riverton, he married Mary B. Glenn.
He was employed doing road and bridge work in Fremont County. He was a carver. He also appreciated the outdoors, where he enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening.
Survivors include his wife; his sons, Bobby Glenn and his wife of Gillette, and Tim Glenn of Riverton; his daughters, Gaylon Dowell of Midwest, Linda Callies and her husband of Casper, and Theresa Heinrich and her husband of Glenrock; a brother, Raymond Bunner and his wife of Glenrock; his sisters, Ruby and Esther Miller of Arapahoe; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and his parents.
