Lloyd D. Boruff, 72, of Unionville, died Saturday at Garden Villa in Bloomington.

Born June 2, 1936, in Bloomington, he was the son of Paul C. and Lois M. (Barrow) Boruff. He was a stone mill worker.

He was a member of the Tunnel Hill Pentecostal Church. He loved the outdoors and his family was his life. He was a good-hearted person.

Survivors include his father, Paul C. Boruff of Unionville; one daughter, Terri Axsom of Bloomington; one son and his wife, Tommy and Beth Boruff of Spencer; three grandchildren, Daniel (Charity) Hendrickson of Spencer, Michael Axsom and Ashley Axsom, both of Bloomington; three great-grandchildren, Allison, James and Lorin; and three sisters and two of their husbands, Phyllis and Gene Hollers of Springville, Sandra and Mike Tarter of Bloomington and Cheryl Boruff of Unionville.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois M. Boruff.

Graveside services will be conducted at a later date at Valhalla Memory Gardens.

There will be no visitation.

Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
