From the Farmers Exchange, Bayard, NE, January 1, 1920, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney:

Aaron Philip Fisher, well known farmer living near McGrew, died at the Midwest hospital in Scottsbluff on December 28 at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 1 day.

Deceased was born March 27, 1853, and at the age of two moved with his parents to Eddyville, Ia., where he was married at the age of 32 to Abbie Foster. Three children were born to this union, Marion S. Fisher, Lillie Fisher and Bert Fisher, all of McGrew. Following his marriage he moved to Kansas where the family resided for two years then moving to western Nebraska where they have lived up to the present time.

He leaves to mourn his death, a wife, three children and three sisters. A brief funeral service was held at the cemetery in McGrew by the Rev. Mr. Winberly of Bayard with a large number of friends and neighbors in attendance.
