Mr Ralph Van Houten, an old soldier and member of the GAR, died last Thursday and was buried in the Ocean View cemetery on Friday. He was a brother of Mrs Beal, also uncle of Mr Chas. Jones of this city.

Ralph's birth information is born 27 July 1833 in Urbana, Steuben County, New York if you could please add that too. And his Civil War service was in Company C, 52nd Illinois Infantry.
