Born October 3, 1936 in Salina, Utah, son of G. Warren and Melba Dastrup Breinholt. Married Ruth Youngberg March 18, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. Member of FFA. He graduated from Granite High School. Elder in the LDS Church. Worked for 32 years at Kennecott Copper Refirs service with SL County Parks and Recreation. His greatest joy was being with his family. He loved to restore jeeps. Being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing."Gordon"
Likes to lead and be in charge, finds great joy when he accomplishes a difficult task, finds that little something extra to give even though he is tired; has time to listen, to be there and care.
All who knew him will remember his great sense of humor.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. at the Taylors Grove Ward, 4845 South Woodhaven Drive (1399 West). Friends may call Wednesday, 5-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, South Jordan Cemetery.
