RUBY FLORA DAY BUSHNELL
TOOELE--Ruby Flora Day Bushnell, our kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother, died peacefully on January 18, 1995 in Tooele, Utah.
She was born May 1, 1915 in Fillmore, Utah to William F.and Ruby Paul Day. She married Evert Stanley Bushnell November 15, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death October 27, 1991.
She provided daily service to others with charity and compassion. She was a former resident of Meadow and moved to Tooele with her husband in 1955. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and served as PTA president in East Millard County and Tooele. She did volunteer service at the Tooele Nursing Home. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving as Relief Society president in both Meadow and Tooele.
She is survived by her sons, Stanley Wardell (Colleen) of Mapleton; Jed L. (Glenda) of Tooele; daughters, Gayle Smith (Pete) of Tooele; and Jerilyn Steele of Salt Lake City; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mima Erickson of Beaver; and Nora Jackson of Fillmore. She was preceded in death by a son, Val Dean; a brother, Farman Day; granddaughter, Cindy Steele; and great-granddaughter, Tiffany Scow.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Tooele 5th-8th Ward Chapel, 196 North Pinehurst. Friends may call at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
