Flossie Ankerholz, 85, formerly of 100 West 17th, died March 15, 1982, at Wesley Towers. Born Flossie Baker Nov. 29, 1896, in Plevna, she married John O. Ankerholz Dec. 31, 1916, in Plevna. He died Sept. 13, 1978.
She was a life-time resident of the area and helped her husband run the Broadacres Home and Farm 1953-63. She was a member of the Huntsville United Methodist Church.
Survivors: son, Jay Ankerholz, 13 Truman Drive; daughters, Mrs. Donna Ellis, Stafford; Mrs. Gail Cusick, Chillocothe, Mo.; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Elliott Chapel. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Chapel. Memorials to the American Heart Association.
