Services for Charles A. ``Cap'' Printy, 67, Vassar, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dengel& Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
Mr. Printy died Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at Valley Lutheran Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.
He was born Nov. 19, 1930, in Ottawa, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Alice Emily Downs Printy.
He graduated from Ottawa High School in 1948. He was a longtime Ottawa resident. He moved to Vassar after retirement in 1975, and wintered in Apache Junction, Ariz.
Mr. Printy was an auctioneer with Printy's Auction House for 30 years. He was a former member of the Aerie Lodge No. 2700 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He married Norris Jean Horn on Nov. 1, 1952, in Bentonville, Ark. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Pamela Jean Auman, Liberal; two sons, Charles Franklin, Belton, Mo., and Patrick Wayne, Olathe; five sisters, Louise Shelton, Monrovia, Calif., Margie Turner, Lawrence, Mary Lea Liggett, Topeka, Vera Belle Wright, Napa, Ind., and Coleen Dawson, Monrovia, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
