Ruth (Loring) Draffin was the daughter of Henry Everett and Florence (Keith) Loring. She was the wife of Rev. Raymond H. Draffin. They were married May 30, 1932. Rev. Draffin was a minister in the Genesee Conference/Western New York Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church/The Methodist Church/United Methodist Church. He died May 28, 1972.

DRAFFIN.--Ruth Draffin, surviving spouse of Rev. Raymond Draffin, died Thursday, May 17, 199O, at the age of 78. Ruth was born September 19, 1911. She married Rev. Draffin on May 3O, 1932. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Straube of Webster, New York and Marsha Foss of Virginia Beach. Another daughter, Miriam died in 1974. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren. Ruth was an accomplished person in handwork. She did many types of needlework and co-owned a yarn shop. For the past three years she resided in the Blossom Health Care Center. Graveside services were held May 19 in Lyndonville. The services were conducted by Rev. F. Ray Hazlett.
