Guy Clayton Arnold, of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 1, 2009. He was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He and his family moved to Las Vegas in May 1980. Guy served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and he retired as a conductor from the Union Pacific Railroad in 2008. Guy is survived by his daughters, Adriane N. Carney of Las Vegas, Kara R. Arnold-Bozarth and husband, Justin, of Henderson; the mother of his children, Jacqueline A. Arnold of Las Vegas; the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Madison A. Carney and Jacob E. Bozarth; his sister, Helen Schaapveld, husband, Gary, and their son, Eric; and his brother, Richard Arnold, all of Iowa. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dean; and parents, Bernice and Clayton Arnold. A memorial was previously held Feb. 4, in Las Vegas. Guy will be laid to rest in late June at Cedar Memorial in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
