|Birth: ||Sep., 1861|
|Death: ||Nov. 7, 1907|
Mrs. Rose Rounds Howe, wife of Arthur Howe, died at her home near Colfax on Thursday evening, November 7, aged 40 years and two months.
Mrs. Howe had been very ill for about four weeks, during the most of which time her life had been despaired of. She was
attended during her entire illness by her only mister, Mr. Mark A. Fullerton of Olympia, who, with the bereaved husband and his family now mourn her loss.
The death of Mrs. Howe has caused a feeling of deepest sadness in the community, for she had by a nature of exceptional sweetness, endeared herself to all who came within her circle of friends.
Colfax has been her home for many years, she having been a teacher in the Baptist college at the time of her marriage to Mr Howe, on January 1, 1887.
The funeral will take place from the home, just east of town, on Sunday, the hour not being decided upon at this time.
