Mabel A. Barr, age 93, of Lithopolis, died Saturday, April 22, 2006 at The Inn at Lakeview. Born December 13, 1912 in Franklin Co. to the late Alvin and Anna (Miller) Stebelton. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lithopolis, where she was organist for many years, and was a graduate of Groveport High School. Preceded in death by her husband John Barr and son Ross Barr. She is survived by daughter, Lois (Robert) Schweitzer, Baltimore; grandchildren, Todd (Lisa) Boyer, Heidi Garcia, David (Kara) Barr, Jason (Stacie) Barr; four great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Lois Barr, Worthington; sister, Ethel (Edgar) Morgan, Groveport; nieces and nephews. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday. Interment Reber Hill Cemetery near Ashville. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in Mabel's memory.
