David Garcia Jaramillo, 62, of St. Johns, died June 12, 2004 in Show Low of complications from cancer.
He was born Feb. 2, 1942 to Erasmo and Baloy Jaramillo in St. Johns. David had a caring heart, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting Indian artifacts. He also served in the United States Air Force.
David's survivors include son, Jason (Michelle) Jaramillo, Springerville; daughters, Santana Alexis Jaramillo, Phoenix and Melissa Aragon, Wickenburg; and one grandson, Danner Jaramillo. Also surviving are his mother Baloy Garcia Jaramillo; brothers, Ernest Jaramillo, Dionisio Jaramillo, Erasmo Jaramillo, Jr.; sisters Emily Baca, Gladys Ott, and Tina Reyes.
He was preceded in death by his father Erasmo Gusto Jaramillo and one sister Therese Cruz.
A rosary was held for David Monday, June 14 and funeral service Tuesday, June 15 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in St. Johns.
Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, St. Johns handled the arrangements.
