Wallace M. Davis, a resident of the Husum community since
1981, died Tuesday, Dec.3, in Husum at the age of 80.
He was born Feb.23,1905 to Edgar and Mamie(Sitser) Davis in
Idaho. He married Grace M. Lewis in Vancouver, Wash. on
June 1,1930. She preceded him in death on March 20,1983.
Mr. Davis came to Glenwood in the 1930's. He worked as a
mechanic, millworker, and farmer before settling in Husum in 1981. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and a member of
the Trout Lake Grange. Mr. Davis also was involved in the
Democratic Party of Klickitat Co.
He is survived by his daughters, Evelyn Davis and Marilyn
Hilton, both of Hood River; four brothers, Howard of Portland, Ore.,Ralph of Antelope, Ore.,Arthur of Long Beach,
Calif., and Paul of Walla Walla.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec.16, at Gardner
Funeral Home in White Salmon under the auspices of the Trout
Lake Grange. Interment will follow in the Trout Lake Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Gardner Funeral Home of White Salamon.
