Mrs. Agnes Dupuis Claimed By Death, funeral Services held Thursday For Well Known Resident Mrs. Agnes Dupuis, resident of Manistique for 47 years, passed away Monday morning at 5:30 a.am. at her home 227 Deer Street, after a sudden illness. She was 87 years old.
She was born August 17, 1849 and was married in Detroit to Joseph Dupuis in 1865. Before moving to Manistique in 1891, she resided 3 years in Fayette. She was a member of St Francis de Sales Church.
Survivors are; five daughters and three sons, they are; Mrs. Dave Robare, of Manistique; Mrs Geo. Kniffen of Mt Pleasant; Mrs. Arthur Miller, of Manistique; Mrs. Jim Russell of Toledo Ohio, Mrs. A Crawford of Saginaw; Frank Dupuis of Bellingham, Washington; William of Alberta Michigan, and James of Manistique. Also surviving are 45 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 8 o'clock from St Francis de Sales church, Rev. B. J. Schevers officiating. burial was in Lakeview Cemetery.
