John Belt, aged 27 years, of 532 Laurel Avenue, died Tuesday evening after a week's illness with tuberculosis of the throat. Mr. Belt was usually well up to a week before his death and had passed an examination for insurance only recently. His sickness was not considered critical, but the dreaded germ had gotten a start and no human remedy could reach it when discovered. He was an employee of the Vindicator a year ago in the job printing department and apparently was in the best of health and was a man of honorable qualities. His relatives are a mother and father and one brother and one sister. The funeral was held on Thursday; burial at Forest Home.
