Lieutenant Robert A. McCullough, DSN 1384, was commissioned as a Police Officer on 06/11/1956. After the academy he was assigned to the following District's and Divisions through out his career. They were the Bureau of Administration, 1St, 4Th, Intelligence Division, 4Th, Intelligence Division, 9Th, and the 6Th District. During his career he was awarded 5 Chief's Letters of Commendation for police work above the call of duty. When he retired on 06/12/1986 he had 30.03 years of faithful and dedicated service to the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Lieutenant McCullough was also a veteran on the United States Navy during World War II and was a Navy Seaman.

Navy veteran serving in WW II and was a decorated St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer who had 30 years of service to the department.
Services: Memorial Service at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Parker Road Baptist Church, 2675 Park Road in Florissant.
