Matthew L. Koch, 27, of 2375 Nichols Run Road, Jersey Shore, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 680 Railroad St., Jersey Shore.
Born Feb. 2, 1980 in Jersey Shore, he was the son of Richard Shaffer and the former Terry L. Koch.
He was employed by Creative Distribution of Carlisle and enjoyed playing his guitar.
Surviving is his father, Richard of Avis; his mother, Terry L. Styers and stepfather, Richard Styers of Jersey Shore; three brothers, Bradley Koch of Linden, Richard Shaffer of Linden and Landon Styers of Jersey Shore; one sister, Rachel McCloud of Avis; two stepsisters, Tiffany Styers and Brittany Styers, both of Avis; grandparents, Kyle and Elsie Koch of Jersey Shore and Shirley J. Shaffer of Lock Haven; his great grandmother, Richard and Linda Styers of Avis; four nephews and three nieces.
Private family funeral services will be Monday, Aug. 6, at 10 a.m. in the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. No public visitation. Burial will be in the Twin Hills Memorial Park. The Rev. Dale Russell will officiate.
