Isham Cornwell, well known here and a brother to William Cornwell deceased, died very suddenly at Weldon on Thursday. The funeral services were held at Weldon on Friday, after which the body was brought to Maroa on the evening train and escorted by the Masons to the residence of Elliott Parker, where it rested until Saturday. The burial took place at the Ridge, west of Maroa, the procession leaving at 11 a.m.
