Judith S. Dokter, 91, Oklahoma City, formerly of Weeping Water, died on Monday, June 6, 2005.
Mrs. Dokter was born August 14, 1913, in Bristol, South Dakota to Rasmus and Selma (Grove) Egge .
On October 28, 1939 she married Kenneth Dokter at Aberdeen S.D., two sons were born to this family while they lived in Andover S.D., in 1943 they moved to Plattsmouth NE were Mr. Dokter worked at the Bombing Plant at Fort Crook NE (now Offit Air Base) in 1945 the family moved to Weeping Water NE. There two more children were born,. Judith was a Cub Scout leader for seven years and a Girl Scout leader for six years; a member of the Better Best Extension club for 15 years. She taught Sunday school and bible school for 16-17 years a St.Paul's Lutheran a charter member of the congregation at St. Paul's and member of Ladies' Aid Society
She is survived by her Son, LuVern Dokter , Oklahoma City OK ; Son, Eldon Dokter , Omaha NE ; Daughter, Kari Beckenhauer, Lincoln; One sister Candace Moulton of Minneapolis MN ; 3 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Parents, Husband Kenneth; one son James; Granddaughter Elizabeth Dokter; four brothers Clifford, Leonard, Rudolph and Dewain Egge; one sister, Elaine Egge
Funeral Service will be 11:00 Thursday, June 9, at the St. Paul Lutheran with Johnathan Rathjen officiating. Organist will be Alice Lauritzen. Pallbearers will be Gayle Meeske , Mark Allison , Matthew Mogensen , Stanley Mogensen, Leonard Hermann, and Phillip Rhodes. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hammons Family Funeral Chapel. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church andor Weeping Water Rescue Squad.
