Ronald George Cole, 17, died early Wednesday morning at his home, 310 West 400 South of a gunshot wound.

He was born February 22nd, at Gary, Indiana, the son of Norman C. and Alma Jennie Saxton Cole. He came to Utah with his parents in 1955. He was a senior in the Springville High School, where he was interested in agriculture, having been a member of the Future Farmers of America organization.

A member of the Church of Christ, he was active in his church. He was interested in all outdoor activities, particularly fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his parents, two brothers; Herbert Cole and Norman R. Cole of Springville; and two sisters, Mary and Nora Cole, also of Springville.
