Herman Clifton Cochran
(Died Dec. 15, 2002)

Herman Clifton Cochran, 65, a resident of Bogalusa, died Sunday in St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran with 22 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Nellie Watson Cochran of Rockingham, NC; two sons, Duane Cochran of Bogalusa and David Cochran of Rockingham; three
brothers, Fred Cochran of Bogalusa, Oliver Walker of Crystal Springs, MS, and J.C. Walker of Dayton, TN; a sister, Alberta Thomas of Dale, NY; and numerous nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Moses Cochran and Susie Hyatt Cochran; and a brother, James Walker.

The family will receive friends and relatives today from 7-9 p.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. Cochran's remains will then be forwarded to Carter Funeral Home in
Rockingham for final services and interment in Richmond Memorial Park in Rockingham. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a charity
of choice.
