ALVIS RAY ORMAN, 58, resident of Memphis with extended family members in Fayette County, died at his residence. Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 15 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel near Oakland with interment in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 1-2 p.m., Saturday at Peebles West Chapel. Mr. Orman was a mechanic for the Warford Auto Parts and was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Mary Bellue Orman; five children; five sisters; two brothers; and 14 grandchildren. Peebles Fayette County (Published in The Commercial Appeal 7/14/2006)
