AMOS A. ALLISON
Amos A. Allison, a well known and highly respected citizen, died at his home four miles east of Waynesburg, Monday afternoon, April 29, aged 74 years, of a complication of diseases. Mr. Allison was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Allison, deceased, and was born in Franklin township, April 10, 1844. Mr. Allison was a second cousin of President McKinley, the latter's grandmother having been born in Greene county. He was united in marriage with Miss Caroline Wisecarver, who with two children survive, George Allison, of near Waynesburg, and Mrs. Roy Leckemby, at home. The funeral was held Wednesday at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. John C. McMinn, of Jefferson.
