The 1880 Census of Leitchfield, Grayson County, Kentucky for James Chriswell shows Robert as the 13 year old brother of Sarah, 28; Anna, 27; Rebecca, 23; Andrew J., 21; James B., 20; Alice, 18; David Zachary, 16; Isabella, 7; and Daniel, 4.
Robert Lee Criswell married Mary Amanda F. Burnett, the daughter of William Anderson Burnett and Juda Ann Brown Wilson, on March 3, 1889 in Grayson County, Kentucky. She died on March 22, 1952 in Grayson County and was buried there in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Leitchfield as Amanda F. Criswell. Robert Lee Driswell was a resident of Indiana at the time of his death in Jefferson County, Kentucky on November 16, 1953. They share the same stone.
