Tex.; Lowry Field, Colo.; Jefferson Bks, Mo.;Chanute Field, Ill.; and Las
Vegas, Nev. Served in Darwin, Australia. Received Air Medal and two Oak Leaf
Clusters. Reported Missing in Action Jan.7, 1944 Home Address Dublin and
Pulaski, VA

MIA; crashed in bad weather during a reconnaissance mission targeting shipping, Manokwari and Boela; Gunner on B-24J Liberator (42-73449); 380th Bombardment Group, 5th Air Force; Awarded Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters and Purple Heart.
