Birth: 1754
Lancaster County
Pennsylvania, USA
Death: 1834
Weakley County
Tennessee, USA

Son of John and Rebecca (Clark) Baldridge, after John's death, Rebecca married Aaron Boggs. Danial was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. Unfortunately, neither his exact birth date nor his exact death date is known nor is his wife's name.

The reason the dates 1754 1834 are on Daniel Baldridge tombstone is that Dr. Kennedy, in his many trips up to Weakley County, one day found that the tombstones had been removed and something had to be done quickly to keep the cemetery from being lost. The government requirement is you have to have a birth date and a death date. Dr. Kennedy use the dates he had at the time to have the tombstone you see put up.

"Previously, the writer's (Dr. Chester Kennedy) guess was that Daniel Senr. was born ciric 1754 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and that he died circa 1834 in Weakley County, Tennessee. Closer and longer study of whatever evidence there is, all of its being rather indirect, indicates he was born circa 1744 in Lancaster County and that he died circa 1828 in Weakley County. In the 1820 Census of Davidson County, Tennessee, there is a man over forty five years of age living in the household of Francis Baldridge. That Person is almost surely Danial Baldridge Senr., father of this Francis. By 1830, there are no further traces of any kind of this person (Daniel Baldridge Senr.) in Tennessee." from Page 395 OUR BALDRIDGE FORBEARS AND SOME OF THEIR COLLATERAL LINES by Dr. Chester Craft Kennedy (October 30, 1915 - July 13, 1995) Copyright 1994
