Birth: Apr. 13, 1948
Death: Mar. 1, 2009

One of Christ's children, Mrs. Freddie Jo Garrett Pugh, went home to be with our Father. She enjoyed life to the fullest with much laughter and love. Her vibrant personality always left an impact on others lives. She deeply loved her children and her grandchildren. One of the things she will be remembered for the most is how strongly she stood for what she believed in. My wife, Mom, MeMaw, we will see you soon when we are there with you dancing with angels.

She was age 60, of Liberty City. Services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the New Beginnings of Harris Creek Church near Winona with Rev. Tommy Goodwin and John Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Creek Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mrs. Pugh died Sunday, March 1, 2009 in a Tyler hospital. She was born in Jacksonville, Texas on April 13, 1948, the daughter of the late Fred Jackson & Iris Josephine Whitley Garrett and was a lifetime resident of the Smith and Wood County area. Mrs. Pugh had worked for Southland Distribution Center as a transportation supervisor and for Good Shepherd Medical Center as a Lab Technician. She was also a member of the New Beginnings of Harris Creek Church.

Mrs. Pugh is survived by her Husband, Mr. Gary Pugh of Liberty City; Daughter, Kathi Pugh of Red Springs; 2 Sons and spouses, Johnathan Pugh and wife, April, of Tyler and Jason Pugh and wife, Tina, of Dallas; Brother, Johnny Garrett of Winona; 5 Grandchildren, Abrial, Jacob, Jade, Sabrina and Cecilia Pugh; and numerous Nieces & Nephews.
