Albert J Lavigne enlisted in the army as a private between 1938 and 1946 (WWII) in Bangor Maine for at least the minimum duration of the war plus 6 months. Left the military as Private First Class per gravestone. He was living in Aroostook County during this time and was likely born within this county. He had attended grammar school, and was semi skilled in welding and flame cutting upon enlistment.
He married Raynette Lefebvre 01 Mar 1947 while she resided in Saco, York, Maine and he in Buxton, York, Maine. This was 20 days before her 16th birthday.
The Biddeford Directory shows Albert worked for Saco Junk Company and he resided on Bradbury St in 1956, Crescent St 1961, and Saco's Jenkins Rd a bit later.
Albert's obit states he lived at Cleaver St in Biddeford when he died of cancer at the Scarborough, Cumberland County location of Gosnell Memorial Hospice.
