Seraphine “Sara” T. Cobb, 83, of Eau Claire, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at her home.
Seraphine was born March 1, 1921, to Joseph and Gertrude (Reck) Killian. She lived in Eau Claire after graduating from Independence High School. She worked for U.S. Rubber for 18 years. She married Rodney Cobb on June 26, 1954, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Independence, Wis. Rodney died in 1992.
Seraphine is survived by one daughter, Paula (Michael) Winter of Green Bay, Wis.; one son, Mikel (Kim) Cobb of Onalaska, Wis.; grandchildren, Nate and Audra Winter of Green Bay, Katy and Zoey Cobb of Onalaska; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Seraphine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney; one sister, Josephine Marsolek; one brother, Benedict Killian.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2004, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Rev. Eugene Klink officiating. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Resurrection, Calvary Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Golden Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave. There will be a 6 p.m. public prayer service tonight at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be directed to Immaculate Conception Church.
