ANDERSON, Dec 17 - Mrs T N Akins, 71, died at her home in Equinox Mill here at 4:15 pm Sunday after a period of declining health and several days of serious illness.
Mrs Akins was a daughter of the late Rev L L Waldrop and Elizabeth, Bramlett Waldrop of Georgia.
Surviving are her husband, T N Akins three daughters, Mrs Inez Reece, Mrs L B Edmonds and Mrs Bob Sullivan of Anderson; one sister, Miss Mary Waldrop of Atlanta; two brothers, W C and C L Waldrop of Atlanta; one half-brother, Jesse Waldrop of Ellavillle, Ga; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs Akins was a member of the Oakwood Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at the Oakwood Baptist Church Tuesday at 4 pm conducted by the Rev E C White and the Rev C V Martin. Interment will be in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at her home after 10 am Monday.∼See "Aikins"
