Joseph "Joe" Edward Goodreau, Sr., Joseph "Joe" Edward Goodreau, Sr., a former Proctor and Duluth resident, died Fri., May 4, 2007, in St. Luke's Hospice. He was 87.
Joe was born in Point Well, MI on October 19, 1919, and was a long time area resident. Joe served in the Navy during WW II. He retired as supervisor in 1990 from Superwood. He was a member of the Proctor Moose. He liked to fish, camp, garden, and he loved his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary, and brother Al.
Joe is survived by six daughters, nine sons, his special friend Evelyn Polling and their son Chuck, 32 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday in Bell Brothers Funeral Home. Burial in Oneota Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by the Duluth Combined Honor Guard. Arrangements by Bell Brothers Funeral Home.
