Dorothy Bee McKinney, 81 of Broken Bow, passed away Monday May 31, 2010 at the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.
The daughter of Levi and Cora (Stillman) Westbrook, she was born August 15, 1928 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Dorothy graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1947 and lived in this community all of her life. On November 10, 1948, Dorothy and Fred McKinney were united in marriage and they shared forty years together. She was an exceptional mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loved spending time with her family. Dorothy enjoyed attending church, growing flowers and fishing.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Fred; infant daughter, Ann Ellen; four sisters, Flora, Zora, Lena, Ruth; five brothers, Bill, Randy, Joe, L.T., and Floyd.
She is survived by one son, Dennis McKinney of Broken Bow; one daughter, Freddie Trent and her husband Gary of Ft. Towson; three grandchildren, Devin McKinney and his wife Angie of Sulpher Springs, AR, Tyson Trent and his wife Candi of Idabel, Lindsey Smith and her husband Clint of Edmond, OK; six great-grandchildren, Hunter McKinney, Colin McKinney, Hope Trent, Miley Trent, Dallas Smith, Jentezen Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends
