Virgil Lee Bisnett, 68, of rural Hoyt, died Saturday, August 22, 2009 after an accident on his farm. He was born June 16, 1941 at Aurora, KS., the son of George Levi and Mabel M. Budreau Bisnett. He had lived in rural Hoyt since 1976. Mr.Bisnett worked in construction many years for Local Union #101 in Topeka. He also owned and operated a Construction Company for many years and was a partner in a Scrap Iron business. He was a Farmer and enjoyed farming all his life. He was a 1959 graduate of Concordia High School. He married Connie Sue Miller on September 2, 1960 at Concordia, she survives at the home. Other survivors include his Mother, Mabel M. Bisnett, Beloit, two Daughters, Vicky Bisnett, Vera Kozubek, both of Topeka, one Brother, Delmer Bisnett, Hoyt, two Sisters, Pauline Allison, Louise Sutton, both of Beloit, and two Granddaughters, Michelle and Kyndra Kozubek, both of Topeka. He was preceded in death by a Son, Randy Bisnett, a Grandson, Ryan Kozubek, and a Brother, Raymond Bisnett. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at St. Aloysius Church in Meriden. Burial will be at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
