F. W. EMEHISER DIES AT AGE 62
Frank W. Emehiser, 62, died at his home at 265 Third Ave. East North yesterday.
Born Aug. 14 at Sandpoint, Idaho, Mr. Emehiser was the son of Frank and Emma Gritzer Emehiser. He was a World War I veteran and had served along the Mexican border before World War I.
He married Madge Robb Sept. 11, 1917, at Sandpoint. In 1919 they moved to Boise and lived there for eight years. They lived at Longview, Wash., for three years before moving to Thompson Falls in 1930.
In 1937 the family moved to Kalispell. Mr. Emehiser, a dental laboratory technician, owned and operated his own laboratory until his health forced him to sell his interests here.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Kalispell Elks Lodge 725.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Sager and Mrs. Henry H. Jacobson, both of Kalispell; one son, Robb L. of Salem, Ore., and eight grandchildren; his father; five brothers, Ray and Clarence of California and Dale, Albert and Earl of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and two sisters, Mrs. William Holman and Mrs. Russell McTaggert, both of Coeur d'Alene.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home by L. E. Lauteret of Church of God. Burial will be in Conrad Memorial Cemetery with military graveside rites.
My grandfather was given the Croix de guerre by Charles De Gaulle and I have the original letter and medal.
