At his home at Linn Grove John Augsburger died Saturday morning 8:30 o'clock of Bright's disease. He was born in French township May 15, 1848 and lived in the vicinity of Linn Grove all his life, for many years as farmer and one of the owners of the well known cane and cider mill near the Wabash river. Of late he lived at Linn Grove. He was married in 1877 to Fanny Hirschy, daughter of John Hirschy, deceased. To this union were born six children, four sons and two daughters, all who survive him. He leaves, to cherish his memory, besides his bereaved wife and children, one half-brother (Christian Augsburger), one half-sister (Mrs. John Schindler), two brothers, Levi and David, and three sisters, Mrs. Nick Stuckey and the Misses Mary and Sarah Augsburger.

Funeral took place yesterday forenoon at the Defenseless Mennonite church in French Tp., Rev. Eli Lanz, the pastor, officiating.

An error crept into the obituary of the late John Augsburger, of Linn Grove, last week. Mrs. John Schindler, named in the obituary as half-sister of the deceased, is a full sister to the deceased, and the latter never had interest in the Augsburger cane and cider mill north of Linn Grove.
