Michelle Lee Kauhs, 16, of Spicewood left this life unexpectedly in a tragic automobile accident. She was born on March 24, 1991 in Austin to Janice and Larry Kauhs. Michelle was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church and was a junior at Lake Travis High School where she was an A/B Honor Roll Student. She loved dancing, softball, computer technology and games, video games, photography, reading and enjoyed her job as a cashier at the Bee Caves Target. Michelle was preceded in death by her brother, Roger H. Brown; grandparents, Henry and Mary Orlikowski and Archie and Lillie Kauhs. She will be sadly missed by her loving parents, Larry D. and Janice M. Kauhs; sister, Angela M. Kauhs; cats, Ebby, Bittie, and Buddy; dog, Mika; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. led by Deacon John Hill. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 7, 2008 at Emmaus Catholic Church, 1718 Lohmans Crossing with Father Jim McDonough, Celebrant. Burial Services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, with Father Samuel Hose officiating. Michelle will be forever loved and missed in the hearts she so graciously touched.. http://www.mem.com
