He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Sue Wilks Adkins, of Caruthersville; Two daughters, Mrs. Linda Yarbrough of Blytheville and Mrs. Ida Jean Ball of Cannelburg, Ind.; One stepson, Bob Wilks, of Memphis; One stepdaughter, Mrs. Ellen Wilks Dickson of Memphis; Two sisters, Mrs. Murriel Chilton and Mrs. Katheryn Neely, both of Caruthersville.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Murel Geneva White Adkins.
Services were April 28 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, the Rev. Ira Singleton officiating, with burial in Little Prairie Cemetery, Dean Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge.
