| Birth: | Jun. 1, 1930 Flint Genesee County Michigan, USA | | Death: | Aug. 30, 1936 Pemiscot County Missouri, USA |  Anna Barbara Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Adams of 275 Hamlin, Flint, Michigan, died Tuesday, while enroute to the hospital in Blytheville for treatment of burns she had sustained the day before. She and her parents arrived here last week to visit with Mrs. T. Martin of Hayti, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Adams and their daughter drove to Kennett to visit with Mrs. Adams' sister, Monday afternoon, while the child's mother and aunt had gone to town, Anna Barbara found a candle and lighted it. While playing, her clothes were ignited and before the flames could be extinguished, she had been severely burned. She received first aid at Kennett, with her parents later taking her to the Hospital in Blytheville. The child, however, was dead by the time they reached the hospital. The child is aged 6 years and 3 months. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at two-thirty from the H.S. Smith Funeral Chapel, with interment being made in the Maple Cemetery.
