Obituary: Irene McDowell 62 of Kaiser died Saturday, Mar 4. 1995, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. She was born April 7, 1932 in Miller County to Everett and Tildia Shelton Witt. On December 22, 1949 she was married in Tuscumbia to Otto McDowell, who survives at the home. Mrs.
McDowell was a member of Mt. Union Church of Christ near Brumley.

Surviving her, in addition to her husband, are a son, James McDowell of Eldon, two daughters , Lila Roush of Jefferson City and Loretta Emmons of Rogersville; five brothers: Doral Witt of Eldon, Iven Witt of Brumley, Jerry Witt, Jim Witt, and Allen Witt, all of Iberia; five sisters, Ruth and Nora Rodden, both of Brumley, Grace York of Crocker, Lois Comer of Barnett and Brenda Strickland of Dixon; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2pm Monday at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with the Rev. J. R . McGuire officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley. Memorial
